Sometimes the most interesting connections aren't the ones we plan.
I've known Linda Planning since elementary school when we were best friends until we were 12 and I moved away. We grew up together, shared many experiences in our formative pre-teen years and then drifted a bit with life. We then spent decades following our own lives and developing in our own directions.
What makes our story so fascinating to me is that while we weren't in each other's daily lives, we were each independently finding our way toward our own understanding of healing, consciousness, spirituality, and the human experience.
Then last year, Linda reached out to me on email sharing that she had just written a book that debuted on Amazon and invited me to take a look. When I saw the title, How to Heal a Human, my mouth literally dropped open. I had no idea she was on a similar path!
I wrote back to her that very day and said how proud I was of her and that we needed to talk! We made a plan to have a video call that next week and we've been our journey's together ever since.
Linda's journey eventually became GLOBALAVIDA™ Holistic Self-Healing Process.
Mine took me into personal development, energy work, consciousness, intuition, and eventually my own work with Ripple Questions.
What makes our reconnection so fascinating is that neither of us knew what the other was becoming. We weren't developing our work together. We weren't comparing notes. We were simply following our own paths; and somehow, those paths natually reconnected.

Linda is the creator of GLOBALAVIDA™, an evolving framework for human flourishing that begins within and expands outward.
Her work brings together the interconnected dimensions of being human — mind, emotions, body, energy, spirit, relationships, and the way we participate in the world.
At its heart is an invitation to become more aware, listen within, and take an active role in your own healing and growth.
Linda has now brought her work to life through How to Heal a Human, her book introducing the GLOBALAVIDA™ Holistic Self-Healing Process, as well as Listen Within, a collection of reflections designed to encourage inner awareness and clarity.
What I particularly appreciate about Linda's approach is that it isn't about handing people another set of rules to follow.
It's about exploration. It's about listening. And ultimately, it's about discovering what helps you flourish.
At the heart of GLOBALAVIDA is a simple but profound idea: Meaningful change begins within. But Linda's vision of healing recognizes that human beings don't exist in pieces. Our thoughts, emotions, bodies, inner lives, relationships, nourishment, communities, and environments continually influence one another.
Her work explores those connections — inviting us to become more aware of ourselves, more connected to our own inner guidance, and more conscious of how that inner transformation influences the way we live in the world.

Here's where our story gets a little ironic.
Linda and I didn't reconnect because we had discovered that we were doing similar work. She wasn't looking for a collaborator. I wasn't looking for one either. She simply reached out to tell me about her book.
But once we started talking, we discovered that two people who had spent decades living very different lives had also spent those same decades developing surprisingly complementary perspectives.
We started comparing notes. Sharing stories. Talking about things that had happened to each of us.
Exploring intuition, healing, energy, consciousness, the nervous system, and all the strange and wonderful ways life sometimes gets our attention.
And the more we talked, the more we realized there was a much bigger conversation happening between our two bodies of work.
Two Different Paths Toward Something Similar
Linda approaches transformation through the lens of holistic self-healing and human flourishing. My own work explores consciousness, energy, intuition, and the possibilities that can open through a simple but powerful question.
They're not the same thing. And I don't think they're supposed to be. That's actually what makes the connection so interesting.
GLOBALAVIDA™ offers a holistic framework for self-healing. Ripple Questions create openings for curiosity, awareness, and new possibilities.
Both invite us to turn inward rather than continually looking outside ourselves for the answer. And both recognize that there is more information available to us when we slow down enough to listen.
As our conversations deepened, something unexpected began happening. Linda started experiencing increasingly specific intuitive “downloads,” including one involving a very particular setting and a request for a confirmation in the form of a daisy.
What happened next involved a video call, a room in my house, a closet I hadn't thought twice about, and a daisy that neither of us knew was there.
It was one of those experiences that makes you stop and wonder, "How did she know?" Well, there's much more to that surprisingly wonderful story and it deserves an article of its own which I plan on publishing soon.
If you're exploring holistic self-healing, personal transformation, spirituality, inner awareness, or what it means to truly flourish, I invite you to discover Linda's work for yourself.
